- Mount fits both left and right hand firearms.
- Receiver is rounded on front and back of receiver where mounts attach.
- MOA mounts are tapered down on front for long range shooting. Height will be about .03 lower on front ring than a standard mount.
- Base screws are 6-48 X 1/4 long and ring screws are 6-40 X 5/8 long. Both screws use a 7/64 Allen wrench.
- Some of the Stealth models and .338 Lapua receivers have been modified at the factory and have larger base screws. The size of them is 8-40 and will us a 9/64 Allen wrench. Check your gun and see because the mount will have to be modified. We charge $40 to modify the mount and we include the larger screws.
- Short action – Outside to outside of rings is 4.36. Standard rings are .63 wide and have 2 ring screws per ring. Tactical rings are .80 wide and have 4 screws per ring. 4 Hole to hole spacing dimensions are .86 3.94 .86. Height of mounts from top of receiver to centerline of scope tube is – low .92 medium 1.05 and high 1.17.
- Long action – Outside to outside of rings is 5.06. ( ***Offset ring mounts with OS for offset on end of part number are 4.42 outside to outside of rings for shorter tube scopes.*** Part 18200OS medium and 12200OS high) Standard rings are .63 wide and have 2 ring screws per ring. Tactical rings are .80 wide and have 4 screws per ring. 4 Hole to hole spacing dimensions are .86 4.63 .86. Height of mounts from top of receiver to centerline of scope tube is – low .92 medium 1.05 and high 1.17.
NOTE: With the new Nikon Prostaff P3 Shotgun scope you will need the HIGH 12200OS Mount. The focus ring is larger and you have to have a taller mount to keep it off the base.
