Need a firearm transferred to our shop? We handle transfers seamlessly, ensuring a smooth process for both buyers and sellers. Transfer fees are $30.
Step 1: Contact Us Before the Transfer
Before the firearm is shipped, contact 2 If By Sea Tactical by phone at +1 (952) 758-4867 or by email at [email protected]. This lets us confirm the transfer details, answer any questions, and make sure the shipment is expected.
Step 2: Gather the Required Information
To keep the transfer moving smoothly, please have the following information ready:
- Your personal details, including name, address, and contact information
- The firearm details, including make, model, and serial number if available
- Any purchase receipt, order confirmation, or seller documentation
Step 3: Send Our FFL to the Seller or Shipping Dealer
If the seller or shipping dealer needs a copy of our FFL, please fill out the form below. We will provide the information needed so the firearm can be shipped to our shop correctly.
Step 4: Arrange Shipment to Our Shop
Once the transfer is coordinated, the seller or shipping dealer can ship the firearm to 2 If By Sea Tactical. Please make sure all federal and state requirements are followed when shipping a firearm.
Step 5: Complete the Background Check and Paperwork
After the firearm arrives, visit 2 If By Sea Tactical to complete the required transfer paperwork and background check. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and any documentation related to the purchase.
Step 6: Pay the Transfer Fee and Take Possession
Once the paperwork is complete and the background check is approved, pay the $30 transfer fee and take possession of your firearm. If your background check is delayed, we will let you know when approval comes through so you can return to pick up the firearm.
