At the heart of what we do is education. Our focus is on safe firearm operation and proficiency, ensuring that all of our visitors leave with a greater understanding of gun safety and handling. We believe accidents are 100% preventable with the right awareness and training. That’s why we’re committed to offering a variety of classes designed to teach firearm history, safety, and real-world applications.

One of the cornerstones of our offerings is our Defender Series of self-defense classes. With over 20 years of combined experience from military and real-world trainers, our instructors bring invaluable knowledge to the table. These courses teach you the ins and outs of self-defense, proper situational awareness, and the legalities surrounding firearm use. Our goal is to make sure you not only understand how to use a firearm effectively but also to equip you with the skills to navigate any situation confidently.

Specialty Classes: Empowering Shooters of All Levels

We offer a range of specialty classes that are tailored to fit the needs of different skill levels and interests. One of the standout offerings is the Red Dot Lab, where we dive deep into the world of red dot optics and teach you the nuances of shooting with this innovative technology. Whether you’re new to red dots or looking to refine your skills, this class is the perfect opportunity to grow your knowledge.

However, the class we are most proud of is our Mama Bear Tactics course. This is a female-only class specifically designed to empower women in their firearm skills and confidence. It’s all about providing a safe and supportive environment where women can learn, ask questions, and grow their abilities. We recognize that the firearms community often leaves behind certain groups, and we’re here to change that. We want to ensure everyone feels welcome and capable, regardless of background or experience level.

Creating Community with Themed Nights

At 2 If By Sea Tactical, we also know that building a strong, supportive community is key. That’s why we host a number of exciting themed nights to bring people together and celebrate those who make our country and our freedoms possible.

Military & First Responder Appreciation Night, held every second Wednesday of the month, is one of the ways we say thank you to our heroes. We offer free shooting for all military and first responders, past and present. It’s a small token of gratitude for those who have sacrificed so much for our safety and rights.

For the ladies, we have Ladies Night Out on the third Thursday of every month. This event offers women the chance to shoot for free while enjoying a fun and relaxing evening with themed activities, crafts, and complimentary drinks and coffee. Men are always welcome, but we want to ensure that women, who are often overlooked in the firearms community, have a space where they can feel comfortable and included.

And for the whole family, our Cosmic Shooting event, held on the fourth Friday of every month, offers a unique shooting experience with black lights and glow-in-the-dark targets. It’s a fun and interactive way to practice lowlight shooting skills, all while having a blast in a family-friendly environment.
