Spooktacular Halloween Celebrations at 2 If By Sea Tactical

Here at 2 If By Sea Tactical we have a motto, “A Gun Shop How The Founders Intended”.  This is more than just a saying to us, but what we strive to embody with every customer that comes through our doors.  On special nights like Halloween, we try to ramp it up even more.  We do this by bringing a special element of fun into our shooting experiences.

All credit really goes to Alabama Firearms Academy located in Boaz, AL.  2 If By Sea Founder Austin Reville, a native Alabamian, visited this establishment in 2023 on Halloween in preparation for building the Indoor range here in New Prague.  There, the offered a truly unique experience, a “Spook Shoot” where guest got to shoot under black lights at ghost and goblin targets from the Dollar Store.

Impressed by the experience, Austin brought that here to Minnesota.  We here are proud to offer the “Ghoul Shoot” here at 2 If By Sea every Friday night in October.  A fun environment where guest shoot at floating ghouls, witches, and goblins under blacklights with spooky messages written on the range walls and creepy background music.

We took the idea from Alabama and built an all year ‘round experience with our “Cosmic Shooting” nights twice a month.  The idea is to bring that “Cosmic Bowling” experience into shooting sports.  This allows the shooter to practice low light shooting in a way that is fun.  It is training without knowing that you are training.

Austin Reville is a big celebrator of the Holiday Seasons.  He loves to decorate his house, and share his love for Halloween, Christmas, and others with his friends and family.  2 If By Sea is no different.  Bringing that love of decorating and fusing them with firearms is the only natural thing to do.

It was a rousing success.  Customers loved the opportunity to experience shooting in a way that was different form other ranges.  Owner Austin Reville said, “We were super excited to pioneer this here this year.  I am looking forward to continuing to grow it.”  We had 1319 Woodfire Tavern cater some appetizers for our customers and it was a great time.

The “Ghoul Shoot” allows you to immerse yourself in a full experience.    For Halloween, of course, we have to have some fun right?  You never know who might pop in,  Freddy Krueger, Michael Meyers, Jason Vorhees?  It is a Spooktacular Time!  Be sure to join us next year for a night of fright where you, the protagonist, can actually fight back and win.
