The appearance on Twin Cities Live with ABC 5 on June 27th here at 2 If By Sea Tactical was truly an amazing experience.  The platform that TCL provides is a huge opportunity for communities like New Prague to show off their town and what they have to offer.  We at 2 If By Sea Tactical, we were honored to be requested to be on the show along several amazing businesses.

Every town seems to have a small antique store. Inside is a museum of wonders that ties us to our past. In the firearm industry this is also true. Most gun stores have a selection of historical firearms on hand. To borrow from Rick Harrison, from History Channel’s “Pawn Stars”, “You just never know what will walk through that door”. To that point recently at 2 If By Sea Tactical had a FEG Mod P37 Pistol from 1941 come through our shop.

So regardless how the Federal Supreme Court rules when it finally steps into the FRT case, they more than likely will continue ruling on Administrative Procedure Act grounds.  This will undoubtedly leave state restrictions, like the one in Minnesota, in effect.  The ultimate cure for states such as ours that is so heavily divided would be for the Supreme Court to take up and start ruling on the 2nd Amendment like they do the others.

Here at 2 If By Sea Tactical we have a motto, “A Gun Shop How The Founders Intended”.  This is more than just a saying to us, but what we strive to embody with every customer that comes through our doors.  On special nights like Halloween, we try to ramp it up even more.  We do this by bringing a special element of fun into our shooting experiences.

The Founding Fathers understood what they were doing when they inserted the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution.  They had just successfully led an armed rebellion over the largest and best trained military the World had ever seen to that point.  They understood the implications, and dangers that such a stance would mean.  However, they deemed the rewards and values of Freedom were greater than any risks.

Guns like the Walther P38 are one of those unique time capsules of history that come through our shop.  A firearm that served on side of oppression during Hitler’s reign, and freedom during the Cold War.  It is a story of conflict and redemption.
